La pelle e il corpo come strumento di comunicazione, come espressione di emozioni spesso contrastanti. La pelle come strumento d’arte, per imprimere sulla tela una forma che non è unica, ma mutevole. Questa è la mia pelle oggi,  lo stampo del mio contenitore, il veicolo con cui esperisco il mondo.Oggi, perché il tempo mi concede questa forma, posso trasformare la mia pelle in calligrafia e renderla ombra soltanto, marchio impresso come avulso da ogni contesto.Se fossimo condannati all’ombra dei sensi, mantenendo solamente il tatto, questo è quello che di noi rimarrebbe: la pelle come unico strumento di conoscenza. I nostri contorni e quelli degli altri si mescolano e si intersecano, come fanno le  nostre esistenze, le nostre paure, il nostro passato e il loro.La nostra identità si svela ai nostri occhi e a quelli di chi guarda come un sottile strato di epidermide. Dentro di essa, si agitano storie, sensazioni, ricordi.

Quest’opere si propongono come tentativo di connessione tra l’io e la forma, che è unica ma mutevole per ognuno e che ci distingue, ci isola e ci congiunge con quello che siamo e quello che si vede.

The skin and the body as instruments of communication, as an expression of conflicting emotions. The skin as an art instrument to impress upon the canvas a shape which is not unique but changeable.This is my skin today, the mold of my container, the vehicle by which I experience the world.Today time gives me this shape so I can turn my skin into handwriting: a shadow, a mark taken out of context.If we were deprived of our senses, keeping touch only, this is what would remain: our skin as the only instrument of knowledge.Our and other people’s boundaries mix and cross as our existences, our fears, our past and theirs do.Our identity reveals itself to our eyes as a thin layer of epidermis. Inside stories, feelings and memories are floundering.

These paintings are intended as an attempt to connect the Ego and the Shape which is unique but changeable for everyone: it characterizes, isolates and join what we are and how we are seen.
